About our upcoming changes
We're always working to add new features to the API, as well as fix bugs, keeping our security up to date, and make sure we're maintaining our regulatory compliance.
Trade Me functionality is updated multiple times per day, and if all goes according to plan you won't notice (as long as you've read our Versioning notes), but sometimes we need to break things to make things better.
When we have a breaking change coming up we will post it here, and we will email every member who has registered an API Application in production. See Registering an Application for more tips on account management.
We aim to give a decent amount of notice for changes to give time for development teams to test changes, however for Zero-day exploits or other critical issues we may have to make changes more rapidly.
If you have any questions about our changes, past or present, please get in touch with us at api@trademe.co.nz
